Osoitevuokraus.fi – Terms and conditions

1. General terms and conditions

1.1. The service is provided by Osoitevuokraus.fi / Osoitevuokraus Finland.

1.2. By purchasing the service, the customer accepts these terms and conditions.

1.3. The fee always covers the following 30 days. For a monthly service, the fee always covers the following 30 days.

1.4. If the customer does not continue to pay, the mail arriving after the payment has been disconnected will be sent to the Post Office for clearance and the service will be terminated.

1.5. If the customer’s credit card cannot be charged, Osoitevuokraus Customer Service will contact the customer. If no payment has been received within 14 days of the failed payment, the mail will be sent to the Post Office for clearance and the service will be discontinued.

2. Osoitevuokraus and post office box

2.1. The customer and the service provider agree by e-mail (info@osoitevuokraus.fi) on the time of handing over the keys, when the customer will receive the keys for the rental period to Osoitevuokraus business premises and to his/her own mailbox. Alternatively, the customer can use a locker with a PIN code lock, in which case no keys are required.

2.2. The customer’s postal address is determined by the next available PO Box (Viipurinkatu 12 L xxx, 00510 Helsinki, xxx is the number of the available PO Box).

2.3. The customer returns the keys received at the end of the rental period either by post(Osoitevuokraus.fi, Viipurinkatu 12 L, 00510 Helsinki) or by personal appointment, which is arranged by e-mail(info@osoitevuokraus.fi).

2.4. The service provider delivers the customer’s mail 2-3 times a week to the customer’s mailbox. The customer has 24/7 access to the premises to collect the mail from his/her own post box.

2.5. The service provider assumes no responsibility for the purpose for which the customer uses his/her postal address.

2.6. The customer is not allowed to use the service provider’s premises for any purpose other than collecting his/her own mail. In case of abuse, the service will be stopped immediately and the customer will be reported to the police.

3. Additional service: scanning only

3.1. By purchasing this service, you give your permission to open and scan your mail. Scanning includes only letters. No magazines or advertisements will be scanned.

4. Additional service: postal delivery

4.1. The Osoitevuokraus service sends the customer’s mail in the “Ärräpaketti” (R-Kiosk parcel service) once a month, on the last day of each month. Secondarily, we use the services of Matkahuolto. The Ärräpaketti can carry a maximum of 5kg of forwarded letters and mail.

Note, postal distribution does not bring a package 3cm thicker than 3cm to Osoitevuokraus.fi, so ordering and sending separate packages without extra charge is currently excluded.

5. Additional service: scanning and forwarding

5.1. If the customer has purchased a mail scanning service as an additional service,the customer gives the service provider the right to open the customer’s letters for scanning and to send the scans to the e-mail address indicated by the customer in PDF format. Once the customer has acknowledged receipt of the mail, the service provider will destroy the customer’s mail using a paper shredder.

5.2. If the customer has purchased forwarding as an additional service, the customer’s mail will be stored until forwarding.
